Our daily schedule
| 8:00am | Welcome and breakfast served. |
| 8:45am | Morning activities, children are given time to explore and make choices. That includes the combination of adult led and child-initiated activities both indoors and outdoors. |
| 10:00am | Mid-morning snack of fresh fruit, vegetables, breadsticks, crackers. Milk or water is offered. |
| 10:30am | Children continue with activities from the morning session to extend their learning and small group work with key persons. |
| 11:30am | Tidy up time (children participate). |
| 11:45am | Story and song time. Goodbyes for morning session children. |
| 12:00pm | Lunchtime – the children sit in small groups with a member of staff to serve and eat their lunches. The older children are encouraged to serve their own lunch. This is a social time for children to discuss their likes and dislikes and talk about their day. |
| 1:00pm | New activities. Say goodbye to morning session children and hello to afternoon session children. |
| 1:15pm | Afternoon activities, children are given time to explore and make choices. That includes the combination of adult led and child-initiated activities both indoors and outdoors. |
| 3:00pm | Snack time – refreshments are offered. |
| 3:45pm | Story and song time. Goodbyes for afternoon session children. |
| 4:30pm | Children come together for Teatime. |
| 5:00pm | Quiet activities to include small group work. |
| 6:00pm | Children sing ‘goodbye,’ and they are collected. Information is given to parents about their child’s day. |
Preschool and nursery
We offer 32 places, both full and part time, for babies and children from 3 months to 5 years of age.
Funded childcare
We offer places for children accessing the educational grant for 15 or 30 hours per week.
Opening times
The nursery is open on an all-year-round basis.
